Dear Felipe,
Thank you for applying for doctoral studies within the Department of Psychology. Your application is not a standard one, in that your qualification does not meet the typical minimal entry requirements for enrolment into doctoral study at the University of Auckland (an honours or masters degree). However, the Department of Psychology Graduate Studies Committee has reviewed your research proposal for the PhD degree, and I am pleased to inform you that it has been endorsed by the committee.
This is not an acceptance into the PhD programme. The application now has to be considered by the Faculty of Science and the University Graduate Board of Studies for approval.
